What's the point of the 30cc quad class? So sikk motored quads can race? I will race it obviously, but I just don't see why it makes sense, whereas an open kart class with up to 40/50/65/etc. would be more of an interesting class.

Its kind of hard to race every engine, frame and etc in two days. We are trying and maybe next year we can extend the new classes on Friday late afternoon.

Now that I see what Trevor said I feel like a moron, of course, and the cases can add incredible power. Anyway, you guys at the ISA do a great job. See you at Worlds!

One more question, by open quad what frame mods are legal, is it unlimited like the super mod class or limited to strength and non frame mods like ama quad?

It is not a open Quad. Its a Go-Quad class with open engines 30cc and under with no frame mods to bolt on engines. Frame rules stay the same. Trevor cases and others engines will now be allowed in this class only.

Bob- good to see you got the stand up enduro in there. I am past looking forward to the races anymore, but more the dinner at the Wasson's trailer after the race. I think you can relate with me on that. Maybe Trevor too. "Oh yeah, and don't kick anyone in the nuts, its overrated." -Someone Wise

Wassons after the races is great. At Minden Dave hung out in his trailer instead of busting butts outside. He must be getting to old to play.

Yeah Bob I think Dave was involved in too much butt busting that weekend. Im sure he'll be ready to go at Worlds though.
Nice to see a pocket Bike class in the ISA also. From what I've been reading , the PB crowd comes to thier races in big numbers . Might be just what is needed to get the circuit to the next level.

i am not sure i understand the reasoning behind the creation of a "GO Quad 30cc class", other than to run the TS cases (or any crankcase for that matter). seems to me that everyone who runs in the normal 24.5cc quad class is gonna run in the 30cc class also with the same quad. are we creating a class so the racer can run any crankcase he or she wants, or are we looking to create a class where creative ideas and innovations will make for some exciting racing for the competitors and spectators?
instead of a "go quad 30cc" how about a "open" 50cc quad class? where other makes of quads like powerkarts and custom framed quads ect can compete. .....a true "OPEN" class with a 50cc limit.....
next year change the 24.5cc go quad class to the 30cc go quad class.

Like I said in the PM to you, we are trying new things to see how they work out within the time we have on Saturday and Sunday. I would like to see Friday late afternoon races next season where we can try all kinds of new ideas like yours and others that have also suggested.
The 30cc Quad class was to attract racers who were left out by the 25.4 Zenoah only class.
Thanks for your support, keep it up and I'll see you in Vegas.

So if I read this right I can run a motor up to 30cc. and it does not have to be a zenoah motor.

Thats right but you do have to comply with the current frame and modified rules.

Dave says, "I'm coming with my posse at the World's (GP, Scott's Motor Sports and Trevor); I've been working out everyday on Skid Row and I'll be ready for Vegas!" :D

We have been taking about an hour in between to tech and set up the track. If you need a few longer just let me know.

An hour sounds great. That should give plenty of time to do a motor swap and get it all running good. Oh yeah, This is a one day only race right? I mean its just the main, no qualifying. Also, will it be saturday or sunday?
