Cost :
$150 - Raw
$185 - Chrome
What you get :
3 stingers and all the necessary hardware to mount the pipe (brackets, manifold, nuts and washers). And of course the pipe.
Installation:
Pretty simple.
1) Basically all u need to do, is unbolt exhaust protector cage. Cut it out so that your pipe can fit through.
2) Unbolt your stock can.
3) Take off the two top mounts on the billet mount, as u will need these to mount the bracket.
4) Attach the pipe and the bracket, and the mani with the spring.
5) Loosely fit the pipe with the manifold on and the spring already on. Easier to do it this way. Screw the mani 1/4 in so it can move.
6) Mount the bracket and start to tighten the two top bolts on the billet mount with the bracket on of course.
7) Then when everything lines up. Tighten each slowly and try to get the best fit at each point.
8) Done!!!
Performance :
Stock SGQ40 - Pretty strong out of the box. All it needs is a little more power and better brakes
SGQ40 with the Proline Pipe - OMG. I had a chance to run a different pipe prior to this, and boy am i glad i picked up this rattler. I am using the mid stinger for my purpose. I believe with my 210 lbs, id need some bottom end and the top which i wanted. To compare it, the previous pipe, u could say that u really felt the pipe come into the powerband. On the rattler, it would just be 1 long pull all the way to the top. I guess i can play more with the tuning of the stingers. But as of now I am definitely happy with this pipe. It feels as if you have 50% more power.
Noise : Well its an endbleed. Plus its for racing. So i do not recommend this to people who wana play around their neighborhoods on their sgqs.
I give it 10 out of 10  s
