TGN Superfly 3 Spoke Rim


First Glance

When you first look at the TGN superfly rim, right away you notice something different about it. And different it is, it has a design like no other rim on the market, very attractive.


Design and Performance

The TGN superfly billet rim is made of 100% billet aluminum, and has a 3 spoke design. It also has two billet spacers, that give the superfly rim a tapered look, where the hub smoothly transitions right down to the axle, all other billet rims have large bulky hubs with their bearings exposed. These bearing savers also have a purpose, they shield the wheel bearing from dirt and debris that a bearing would normally be exposed to, what a brilliant idea!

The TGN superlfy billet rim consists of 6 parts, the rim itself, two billet bearing savers, two bearings, and a special length bearing spacer. Installation is just like a normal rim, except you have to also slide the bearing savers onto the axle, no problem. When I installed the tire onto the rim, it was just like any other small tired rim, no easier, no harder.

The superfly rim spins very smoothly, and is weighted enough to have great momentum when spinning, yet at the same time light enough to spin quickly. It performs great.

Here is the best part. When I was changing my fork, I took off the wheel, and wow! The bearings in the wheel were like brand new. There was no dirt or anything in the bearing, it looks brand new, and was still oiled. The bearing savers really do help out a lot. I have been using the same bearings in the wheel for over a year without any problems. This wheel is maintenance free, and lasts forever! A normal rim will slow down after a few weeks until the bearings are either replaced, or cleaned, but not this rim! Cleaning is also a breeze, there are no sharp parts or hard to reach spots on the rim, so all dirt can be wiped away easily.


Overall

This is another top quality TGN product, and again, I have no complaints. This will be the last rim you ever buy, I could not be happier with this product… unless it was free!

they arent the only ones! mark also has the solid black rim that will work with the spinner atachment but either way both are a great choice.
