TGN Billet Throttle Linkage Review

Team Gonads Billet Linkage Review

Overview: The TGN linkage is a billet throttle linkage which replaces
the stock linkage. It is substantially thicker, and does not flex with
throttle tension unlike the stock one. The TGN linkage also provides incredible
throttle response, unlike the stock linkage where you have to pull the
throttle back half way to get any response.

Installation: The TGN linkage is very easy to install. I rate it a 2, 1
being the easiest and 10 the hardest
Step 1- Remove your carb and air filter from your manifold.
Step 2- Remove your throttle cable from the throttle lever on your
handlebars.
Step 3- Pull the end of the throttle cable out of the throttle body on
your
carb with a pair of needle nose pliers, and make sure you don’t lose the spring.
Step 4- Remove the nut that threads onto the end of your throttle
linkage
Step5- Remove the 2 screws that hold your stock linkage down to your
carb with a phillips head screwdriver, and replace it with the TGN linkage
and tighten down the linkage on the top of the carb with the 2 screws you
removed earlier.
Step 6- Thread the end of your throttle cable through the linkage
Step 7- Place the spring on your cable, and with need nose pliers
reinstall the end of the throttle cable back into the throttle body
Step 8- Reinstall the throttle cable back into the lever
Step 9- Reinstall your carb and air filter back onto the manifold.

Performance: 10
The TGN linkage works very well. You do not have to pull that throttle
back to ½ throttle to get your ped to get off of idle. As soon as you touch
the throttle you are off. I could not expect better from this product.

Looks: 8
The TGN linkage looks much better than the stock linkage, and is very
easy to mirror polish it.

Price: 9
The TGN linkage is priced very well for what it provides.

Pictures will be provided shortly.
