yea I don't like the idea of a twist throttle. Just the thought of standing up with ones makes me feel uncomfortable. But if you happen to do the conversion, I hope you enjoy it!

Twist throttle on go peds is the lamest ****ing thing ever...I never cuss on here, so you can see how much I hate them.

I don't even ride motorcycles because they have them.

I don't see why they are still on motorcycles...

YOU TURN WITH THE HANDLE BARS...what happens if you hit a rock or something at low speed, slightly turn the handle bars to recover, and accidentely hit the throttle?

ATV throttles FTW

For riding long distances, I like the twist throttle better. Reason is if I keep giving throttle on my Evo, then my finger gets tired or cramped because there is a lot of resistance in it. However on my motorcycle or chinese scooter which have a twist throttle, they are very comfortable. But that aren't that great if you will be standing up.

You could always get what scarslilpyro said.

Bikes have long travel shocks. Its easy to ride with a twist on a bike.

My Jogped has a twist throttle, and it took some getting used to.
It's a really good twist throttle though.
The new Thumperped has a twist too.

I like it, as the Jog/TP's power comes on really smooth because of the CVT.
If you have a ped with sudden extreme powerbands, I would not do twist.
The CVT makes speed and power transfer very smooth and not jerky.

Tried it on my Dannyboy and almost killed myself.
One shift in weight, or big bump and the twist got moved, revving when you do NOT want it to.

I don't know how long you have ridden, but I can't ever recall my fingers getting cramped or anything from the throttle. My hands would get numb from the cold or the vibration but that's it.

I don't think that your throttle has as much resistance as mine. I have a real strong spring and I am constantly give gas and letting go so it does sometimes get tiring for my finger because I fractured it and sometimes I have pain randomly.

Yeah that would make sense...I have the stock plastic POS and I've been wanting the billet one that will retract better...plus my throttle cable is super thrashed.
